[Academic] New staff profile pages

Hello,

The new look Strathclyde website is taking shape at:

http://beta-www.strath.ac.uk

At a recent meeting the focus was on the Staff profile pages.

http://beta-www.strath.ac.uk/staff/

Currently the new staff pages are only available to view on-campus, but the web team intend to make them public at the end of May.

Some points:


-          The staff profile page will be generated from Pure and HR systems, and will no longer be manually editable

-          There are new fields on Pure for information that is transferred to the staff page (more information in the attached document):

Personal Statement
Expertise
Teaching
Prizes and Awards
Qualifications
Research Interests
If you have a photo on PURE it comes through too...

Please check/update the information on PURE and HRIS for the end of May.

The web team will have a professional photographer at the University from the middle of April to take official staff photos. If you're interested, sign up by emailing keith.bryce at strath.ac.uk<mailto:keith.bryce at strath.ac.uk> with the subject line: register for staff photo, by 11th April.
