Dear All,
I attended the meeting at Edinburgh University. The purpose of the meeting was to highlight a new resource that has been created by the Institute of Physics aimed at the teaching of quantum mechanics. The resource can be found at http://quantumphysics.iop.org and I would encourage you to register and have a play with the material on the website and if you feel that it will help your teaching then embed the link in Myplace and lectures. As detailed on the front page the people who have developed this resource have tried to highlight various aspects of quantum physics from a two state approach. The rationale for this is that they believe that students are happier multiplying matrices together rather than integrating.
The site is divided into 6 different categories which can be used to support your teaching
Nigel
