[Academic] IMPORTANT: Missing Asset Register Information

HI

At the last Departmental Committee meeting I highlighted the need for better cooperation in the completion of asset register forms.  £200K of equipment remains unlisted and in the event of fire or theft it puts the department in a precarious position.  It is also important to note that it is mandatory by the University.

I have been attempting to get guidelines from the Centre (an action from the last meeting) but to date all I have been told is that it is mandatory and that the information is required for insurance purposes.  Further information will be forwarded in due course.

In the next week Annette will be sending out individuals items that need to be updated.  Please provide these asap and return to Annette.
