The Research & University Programmes Team at the Royal Academy of 
Engineering are currently inviting applications for three of our schemes.

*Royal Academy of Engineering Research Fellowships

Applications are welcomed from outstanding researchers from all branches 
of engineering who are about to finish their PhD or have up to three 
years Post-Doctoral experience. The scheme provides funding for five 
years and provides freedom to concentrate on research, time to establish 
a track record and relief from teaching & administration. Applications 
must be received by *4pm on**Monday 6 October 2014**.*For further

*_Royal Academy of Engineering/The Leverhulme Trust Senior Research 
Fellowships

The Fellowships allow academics to concentrate full-time on research, by 
being relieved from teaching and administration duties for up to one 
year. The awardee’s employing institution will be reimbursed for the 
salary costs of a replacement academic, who will cover the awardee’s 
teaching and administrative responsibilities. Applications must be

universities, to develop pre-competitive research programmes as well as 
strengthen industry-academia links through co-funding the positions with
