Subject: [Academic] PGR Studentship(s)

Dear All,

As of last night, we have one or two EPSRC Tranche 1/2 PhD studentships still available for allocation. Given the time of year we are now looking to fill these urgently so if anyone has or knows of suitable potential applicants (these are available only to UK students) then please get in touch.

I have one applicant on the system who is thus far unaccounted for – he has an MSc degree from Dundee with an interest in photonics. If anyone would like more details I will open the application up to them on Pegasus.

Cheers,
Neil

Please note:
The studentships will be funded via the usual model, ie

DTG contribution plus a Faculty Fee waiver will account for the stipend and fees leaving
£1931.50 from the department contribution and
£1931.50 to come from the research group/division/supervisor
