[Academic] Staff Development

Dear Kirsten,

This is one where we ask "who's asking and why?" The number of 
conferences will probably go into the 100s and I think colleagues have 
better things to do with their time than summarise them for no clear 
reason.

(...that said when you ask "how much was spent" do you mean time or £?)

Happy to be blamed for a null return. Requests like this have to be 
explained and justified.
