[Academic] PH450/PH550 projects - allocation, round 1

Hello,

Round 1 of the PH450 project allocations has been made. 52 students have been allocated a project in this round - attached is the list ordered by supervisor.

Round 2, with a revised booklet of the remaining projects, has now begun for the remaining 18 students. The deadline for the next round will be Thursday at noon.

Hello,

The project class, PH450, is now open on MyPlace with the attached project booklet. Expect 4th year students (and some 5th years) to be contacting you in the next week.

The deadline for project allocation forms to be back in is the 3rd October at 4pm. Initial project allocations will be made by the 8th October, laser safety training is on the 9th October (CV 504, 10am-12noon).

I've also attached the proposed timetables for the project classes, and the minutes from the Teaching Committee concerning them.
