[Academic] PhD advertising

Dear All,

We are now coming up to a crucial time for advertising PhD projects as experience suggests that this is the time when high quality students come onto the PhD market.

Timothy has prepared a new-look website for our projects, which we are now looking to populate...

some of you will have sent project titles to Lynn or Timothy over the summer and Audrey will be making these visible on this page shortly, she will also be asking for short descriptions of these projects from those who didn't provide them initially.

I would like every member of staff to have a project advertised on this website. At this stage funding is not the issue, we need applications from good students and we will deal with funding later. To attract students we need exciting projects so, if you haven't already done so, please send a project title and short description (100 words) to Audrey.

I would also encourage everybody to update (in some cases (re)activate) their FindaPhd.com advertising slots. If you need reminding of your password or would like an account but don't have one currently then please let me know.
