Subject: CROS and PIRLS Surveys 2015
Sent on behalf of Emma Compton-Daw, Organisational and Staff Development Unit
Dear Colleague
We have recently launched The Careers in Research Online Survey (CROS) and the Principal Investigators and Research Leaders Survey (PIRLS) here at Strathclyde.
CROS gathers information about researchers' working conditions, career aspirations and career development needs while PIRLS gathers views and experiences from principal investigators in relation to their role as managers and leaders of researchers and research groups in UK Higher Education institutions.
The outcomes of these surveys are used to inform policy and strategy both here at Strathclyde and nationally so it is important we have as strong a response rate as possible.
Please could you encourage staff in your department to complete whichever survey is appropriate, before the closing date of 10th April 2015. An email with the details about both surveys is attached.
Many thanks
Emma
