Hi Everyone,
This is just a brief reminder that today from 9am-9:40, our visitors from the EPSRC will be available in TIC conference room 3, if you have any specific questions.
A subset of the team will also be available in the 8th floor common room (John Anderson) for informal discussions from 12:15pm until a little before 1pm.

This is to remind you that this Thursday and Friday we have a group of representatives from EPSRC physical sciences visiting the University, and meeting with members of Physics, Chemistry and Chemical Engineering.
There are going to be several presentations on the afternoon of Thursday 4 June that will hopefully interest many of you:
– There will be an overview presentation from John Hand (Physical Sciences lead, EPSRC)
– There will be a session for early career researchers
– There will be a parallel session for established career researchers.
These will be held in the TIC building, with plenty of time for discussion. The schedule is planned as follows:
Thursday 4th June:
13:00 – Presentation by John Hand (Physical Sciences lead, EPSRC) and
corresponding discussion, covering high-level topics, such as
International collaborations, increased engagement, Diversity,
Technology Touching Life Responsible Innovation, Pathways to Impact
and Impact at EPSRC, Advanced materials, the balance of grants within
EPSRC, priorities within Physical sciences and balancing capability.
TIC Building, conference rooms 6&7, open to all interested staff
14:30 – Coffee
15:00 – TIC Conference room 6 – Early career researchers session, including:
