[Academic] End of year assessment details

Dear All,

Please see attached the first notification of the end of year assessments that all Physics PhD students are required to undertake. I have attached instructions and a timetable for students in all three years. Start-dates and programmes vary so if you are not certain which applies to you, please consult with your supervisor and thereafter with me if still unsure.

Please note that the 1st year Postgraduate conference will be on the 12th August at Ross Priory and the 2nd year poster session will take place on the 13th August in the department. These are compulsory events.

The assessment vivas and progress meetings will take place during the month of September at a time to be arranged.

PS A small number of students will be subject to assessment in January due to a non-October start date. I will be in touch with you and your supervisors separately to confirm this.
