Thank you to those of you who have responded to my previous email with their preferred slot for the Open Meeting with the Dean.  I can now confirm that this meeting will take place on 9th July at 11-12.


-          Venue will be confirmed at a later date, but for now please put this slot in your diary if you can attend.

To those of you who have not responded to my earlier email I would be grateful if you can confirm if you can/cannot attend on this date.

When David Littlejohn took over as Dean of Science in Aug 2014, he undertook a series of visits to departments holding an open meeting in each.  David has asked that this series of meetings  (1 hour per department) be arranged in early July.


I am trying to identify the best slot for the majority of members of academic and research staff.  I would be grateful if you could let me know which slot you would be able to attend as below:



7th July -  1.30 - 2.30

8th July -  9-10

9th July -  11-12

An open meeting of support staff will be held at a later date.
