[Academic] Dept Financial Arrangements - Agresso

Over the next couple of weeks the department will be preparing for the move to Agresso so whilst it is important that we function as normal as possible throughout this period there will be some disruption and I would ask staff for their cooperation and patience.

The University has provided information on the financial deadlines which have been sent to all members of staff.  From now until Agresso goes live it will be necessary for the department to limit the expenditure running through running costs, DF1000 and CF1000 in order to finalise information.

Catherine can advise on day to day transactions and queries.  I will be focusing on the move across to Agresso.

Grants and special funds should move automatically and PIs should have access to the information on the new system when it becomes live.

The departmental accounts will be split into individual accounts and group heads and supervisors will have access to these.  This will need to be done manually so it may take some time to move everything across but we are working with Finance to do this as smoothly as possible.

CF1000 - access to PIs
DF1000 - access to supervisors
DG1000 - access to group heads

The reporting mechanism is an unknown at the moment but we will inform you of any developments as they happen.
