[Academic] Prizes

Dear All,

First of all many thanks to all those who participated in what has been a good week of postgrad presentations (talks at Ross Priory and posters yesterday). It is widely-agreed that the standard has been very high so well done to all.

We traditionally award prizes to the best 1st year talk and the best 2nd year poster and this year these have gone to:

Talk: Maria Weikum
Poster: Luke McLellan

I'm sure you will all join me in congratulating Maria and Luke.

A final note of thanks goes to Audrey who did an excellent job with organising both events and to everyone else who helped out over the course of the week.
