Dear All,
The Dean is in communication with Gemma Elliot in the Alumni and Development Office about fund raising for the Faculty. This is not an area where we have the greatest of track records. I met with Gemma a while ago and suggested that one area, where she might be able to help, was in setting up schemes allowing us to fund international PGR students.
Gemma believes it is important to develop a sheet for each department that she can use with potential donors. She wants some recent research stories - successes/achievements that she can use to interest alumni and corporate givers. So, could you provide me with some brief bits of recent information (past couple of years) that I can pass on to Gemma and she can edit and produce a sheet for the department? If you have any associated graphics or photos, send those as well.
Please provide this information by Thursday 27th August.
Thanks
Erling
