[Academic] FW: External Examiners Expenses, Fees

Dear All

Please find attached the relevant forms which should be completed for submission of external examiners expenses and external examiners fees.

Expenses
External Examiners expense claim attached - when completed please forward this form to myself or Audrey for processing.

Fees
For payment of fees an Undertaken Duty claim and Proof of Eligibility to work in the UK  must be completed for External Examiners for Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses and External Assessors on interview panels.  The University is legally required to copy and retain documentation that provides proof of a person's Right to Work in the UK.  Claims for payment will only be processed if evidence of this right is recorded.   This proof of Eligibility to Work in the UK must be signed by a member of the examining committee to verify that they have seen the original document.  This is required under HMRC regulations and for audit purposes.

To ensure payment of fees are paid promptly I would be grateful if you could forward the Undertaking Duties form, with verified proof of Eligibility to Work in the UK to me for processing.
