[Academic] PGR starts

Dear All,

I am aware that the new intake of PGRs will be starting over the next few weeks. For various reasons, the start dates are rather dispersed this year so I am writing with details of the various induction events that the students will need to be aware of. They should already have a lot of this information (or it will be coming over the next week or so) but if supervisors also have access to it then we should avoid confusion.

Please see the attached document for details/dates of inductions and for some information regarding the taking of non-SUPA classes.

If your student is starting before Oct 1st, then please be aware that the safety induction for PGRs is not scheduled until Oct 1st. Please make suitable arrangements for the induction of your students into the department as per Ronnie's guidelines.
