[Academic] PH450 Project Allocations, Call for More Projects

Dear All,

I forgot in my previous email to thank all those who have offered projects, especially those who have taken on more than their fair share of students. Due to how the project allocations have progressed, it looks as if we have a shortfall of projects compared with the remaining unallocated students.

I therefore request for a few additional projects, especially from those with fewer than three projects on offer/allocated, to help out the situation. There have been specific requests from students for experimental projects, but I understand that it has been difficult to accommodate the large number of students.

Please send any new projects to me and Timothy tomorrow so that students will have a chance to consider and discuss them on Monday before the deadline.

Thanks,
Daniel.

Subject: PH450 Project Allocations, Round 1

Dear All,

Attached is a PDF of the allocated projects for the first round of PH450 and the remaining unallocated projects. So far 62 students have been allocated projects, with 27 students remaining. The fourth years still looking for a project will be given until 4pm on Monday to get a second round form in.

The reissued project booklet has just 27 projects left in! I may be in touch to ask for your help in doubling up on projects etc. when we see how the second round has gone.

Thanks,
Daniel.
