Subject: CX23515 - Radio Frequency (RF) Antenna Load Testing (NOT PROTECTIVELY MARKED)
GPMS Classification: NOT PROTECTIVELY MARKED
Cath:
We have a requirement to load test a Centre Fed Dipole Antenna used for Terrestrial Broadcast (Radio) Transmission on behalf of one of our vendors (RenAir Antenna).
We require to assess the physical maximum power handling of the antenna however require a controlled environment to execute such testing. Do Strathclyde University have an Anechoic Chamber or similar controlled testing lab for such a purpose?
If so, we would be keen to speak with the relevant party to discuss taking this further.
The Antenna will look something like shown below and basic testing parameters would be 103.00MHz pushing up to 0.6kW. PHASE can supply everything aside from physical facility to test the antenna i.e. the building, room, lab or otherwise.

Many thanks.
