BALLOT FOR VACANCIES ON THE
RESOURCES AND PLANNING COMMITTEE (FRAP)
(to serve until 31 July 2018, not renewable)
Five nominations have been received for the three vacancies in the elected membership of the Resources and Planning Committee (FRAP). There must therefore be an election. The candidates are:
(i) Professor Bernhard Hidding (Physics), proposed by Professor Erling Riis (Physics) and seconded by Professor Paul McKenna (Physics)
(ii) Dr David McKee (Physics), proposed by Professor Erling Riis (Physics) and seconded by Professor Paul McKenna (Physics)
(iii) Dr Alison Ramage (Mathematics and Statistics), proposed by Professor Stephen Wilson (Mathematics & Statistics) and seconded by Professor Chris Robertson (Mathematics & Statistics)
(iv) Dr Luke Chamberlain (Strathclyde Institute of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences), proposed by Professor Robin Plevin (SIPBS) and seconded by Dr Marie Boyd (SIPBS)
(v) Dr Murray Wood (Computer and Information Sciences), proposed by Professor Ian Ruthven (Computer and Information Sciences) and seconded by Dr Alex Coddington (Computer and Information Sciences).
This notice is being sent to all members of staff of the Faculty who hold academic contracts. Only these members of staff are eligible to vote.
The attached Ballot Paper, and the procedures set out on it, must be used. The ballot will close at noon on Monday 23 November 2015. The count will take place on the same day in Colville Building 616 at 4pm. Single transferable voting procedures will be used. In the event of a draw, the winning candidate will be determined by lot.
