Dear All,
Looking at our department profile on FindaPhD.com, I notice that over half of our PhD studentship advertising spaces are currently not visible (most because an application deadline has expired).
This is an important time of year for PhD applications as the strongest final year students will typically be looking for places around now. The department has just taken out an advert in Physics World to assist with PGR recruitment so I would urge you in the strongest terms to update your profile on FindaPhD and get your advert reactivated. These spaces cost us money and if they are not used we will discontinue them.
Should you have any interest from good students, I would also ask you to point them towards the SUPA Prize Studentship application scheme, which should be completed in parallel with a Strathclyde application. Sadly, SUPA Prize awards no longer have financial benefit but they do carry positive benefits for both the student and department.

Best wishes,
Neil
