Subject: International Funding Bulletin

Dear all,

I’ve put together a short bulletin on International Funding opportunities, which I hope will be useful.

It includes:

• The latest Newton Fund calls ( with a lot of new opportunities for international fellowships and mobility grants; plus innovation and industrial research calls with China, India and Mexico).
• News on the significant announcement that Chinese and Hong Kong-based organisations will now be funded to participate in Horizon 2020.
• Info on the new UK-China Prosperity Fund call.
• A link to the RKES factsheet on 2016-17 H2020 calls and deadlines.
• Details on a new NORFACE transnational call on dynamics of inequality across the life course.
• Information on the Strathclyde Global Engagements Fund, which aims to support academics interested in developing collaborations with excellent researchers and organisations worldwide.
• Notice of international funding calls expected on clean energy on the back of “Mission Innovation” and the “Breakthrough Energy Coalition”.

Together with the international team in RKES, I’m very much on hand to offer support on these calls should they be of interest, or on international funding opportunities more generally. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if it’s helpful to meet at any point.
