[Academic] Fwd: student looking for summer work placement

Dear All,

I've been contacted with details of a talented fifth year school pupil 
from Bearsden looking for a summer research placement. He applied for a 
Nuffield for a research placement and ended up first on their waiting 
list. He's keen to find a placement and to use this to work for a Gold 
CREST Award. I attach the personal statement he sent to Nuffield. He has 
8 A*s at National % and wants to study Physics at University.

Would anyone be interested and able to offer him a placement this summer?

I don't think it is necessary to offer any financial support but I'm 
sure a small bursary would be appreciated.
