Dear All,
The latest Complete University Guide has been published and Physics has moved up two places from 25th to 23rd (http://www.thecompleteuniversityguide.co.uk/league-tables/rankings?o=Entry+Standards&s=Physics+%26+Astronomy). The Guide is based on a scoring against 4 factors
Entry standards, Student Satisfaction, Research Quality and Graduate Prospects. There are 47 universities that offer Physics.
For entry standards we are 27th (with a total of 408, which should be compared against our entry target of 305 for MPhys). Top score 635
For student satisfaction we are 8th (4.39) and the top score is 4.5 (measured out of 5)
For research we are 1st (3.35 out of 4)
For graduate prospects we are 33rd with a score of 73. This is one area we need to improve on so please encourage the students to complete the 6 month Graduate Survey that is sent to them once they have graduated.
Thanks
Nigel
