[Academic] EPSRC - End of Grant Information

Hi

I asked Finance for clarification regarding the payment of invoices prior to the end of an EPSRC grant, please note the response below for information:

'To ensure invoices are accepted by RCUK they must be dated before the grant ends.  We have 3 months after the end date to ensure all charges have been made to the account.

Anyone in the department that has an invoice dated after the end but wishes to include in the final costs must have written confirmation from RCUK that the costs are eligible.  Travel must be undertaken within the period of the grant, an invoice before the end date if travel is after won't be accepted unless written confirmation from RCUK.

Purchase of equipment should be made 6 months before the grant ends or again written permission.'
