Dear Colleagues interested in quantum teaching,
Please see below a request to endorse a proposition to strengthen the educational strand of the EU flagship quantum technologies programme. Please could you consider endorsing this proposition? The link is in the email below. The deadline for endorsements is 25 October. If you are aware of other colleagues that might be interested in endorsing this proposition, please could you pass on this email?
Many thanks,
Antje Kohnle

Subject: Call to the Physics Education Research Community in Europe
Dear Colleagues,
in 2018 the EU will launch a flagship project to support the development of quantum technologies. An integral part of the project is the development of new quantum professionals and the promotion of quantum technology to society. We feel that the physics education research community can contribute to achieving these goals. Our plan is to present a proposition to the flagship’s steering committee on a conference in November. To gain more support for our cause, we ask the education research community to endorse our proposition.
Please consider endorsing the attached document by providing your name and the name of your institution in the following online form https://goo.gl/forms/bSTQw8J5vuC3z0uW2 . The deadline for this call is already 25 October.
Please share this email and the link with your group and your colleagues from education research, education industry and schools.
If enough people sign the proposition, we might have a good chance to instate education research in the upcoming program.
With best regards
