[Academic] SUPA Welcome Event

Dear All,

Just a reminder for all supervisors of new-intake PGR students - the SUPA Graduate School welcome event is being held tomorrow in Edinburgh and bus travel has been arranged for all of our new students. I am hearing that some students are under the impression that this event is optional. I'm therefore writing to ask that you communicate clearly to your students that this is part of the induction process and attendance is expected unless there is a very good reason.
