Dear All,
Apologies first to those of you to whom this is not relevant. I have been asked to pass on a message from the Director of the EPSRC Diamond Science and Technology CDT (Prof Mark Newton at Warwick). Strathclyde is one of the partners in the CDT. The CDT is looking to recruit a couple more students for the autumn and so I’ve been asked to let you know that if you have a suitable project and student, the CDT may be able to assist with funding (typically they will fund up to 2/3 for a studentship but this is not a hard and fast rule). If you have are interested please either contact me or the CDT directly (DST.Admin at warwick.ac.uk<mailto:DST.Admin at warwick.ac.uk>).
There are more details of the CDT here: https://www2.warwick.ac.uk/fac/sci/dst/. (It is worth noting that DST CDT studentships last 4 yrs with the first year spent at Warwick doing taught courses: http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/fac/sci/dst/msc_programme/)
Best regards,
Alan
