[Academic] Student Inauguration Ceremony - 19th September 2017

Dear All



The Student Inauguration Ceremony for new Undergraduate students is taking place in the Barony on Tuesday 19 September.



As in previous years there will be four separate Faculty events taking place, each of which will involve the Principal, Dean (or Senior Vice-Dean) of the Faculty and the USSA President.



The times confirmed for each Faculty are below:

11.00-11.30     Science

12.00-12.30     Engineering

13.00-13.30     Business School

14.00-14.30     HASS

The Faculty Office look after confirming the details of which academics will attend each event and join the academic procession.   To ensure we have an even representation we are looking for 15 academics to attend from each Faculty.  I would be grateful if you could let me know if you wish to attend the ceremony and I will inform the Faculty accordingly.

Academic/Court dress will be worn by those participating in the academic procession.  If you wish to attend I would be grateful if you could let me know if you will bring your own robe or whether you would like to be provided with a plain black robe.  If you wish to attend please arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony to allow time to prepare for the procession.
