[Academic] PH450 Project Literature Reviews Available

The PH450 Literature Reviews can be found in the idrive directory "/Science/Physics/project/2017_2018/Literature Reviews". If your student's review is not there, they have not handed it in on time or have been granted a week's extension.

At your next project meeting, please go over the review with your project student with particular emphasis on:

-          Proper referencing

-          Aims and goals of the project

-          A good understanding of what they are expected to do and when they need to do it
Do inform me if a student is yet to demonstrate engagement with the project as it is best to try to sort out these problems earlier than later.

For the risk register, you may want to discuss possible roadbumps that could get in the way of the project, e.g. experimental problems, theoretical difficulties, logistical or personnel issues etc. Please check whether they have a realistic understanding of the difficulties they may encounter and what they can do to ameliorate their effects.
