The final round of University studentships (the JARAs) is open. Copied below are details from the PGR Funding Team in RKES. Please submit applications using PGRApps by Friday 15th June at the latest. This gives a short time for checking and completion of the Faculty ranking. All applications will need two references, a student CV and all transcripts.

The JARA is for named students who have a First Class honours degree or Masters with Distinction. The studentship provides a maximum of £9k pa for 3 years from University funds.  Applications require a minimum contribution of 15% of the total student funding package (fees + stipend) that can be evidenced as being External support.  The remaining funding can be contributed from Faculty, Department/School, or personal budgets. These studentships should start on 1st October 2018.

Please also find attached the equality and diversity form, to be completed for each application. Students can send the completed forms to us directly: rkes-res at strath.ac.uk<mailto:rkes-res at strath.ac.uk>, quoting the application number and supervisor name. If students do not wish to complete the form, we would appreciate if the supervisor, or student, informs us of this.
