Dear All,
Just want to remind you of the need for us to provide support for our PhD students when they write their theses. It is essential before we sign off as supervisors that the thesis submission can go ahead, that we have actually read a draft thesis and provided advice on content and style. We owe this to the students and if a sub-standard thesis goes out, that is damaging to our reputation.
