[Academic] Open evening - thanks

Thanks to all who assisted with the departmental open evening last 
night, either as tour guides, lab demonstrators/hosts or in organising 
and advertising the event.

The turnout was good, with approx. 75 visitors coming in. Those I spoke 
to afterwards seemed to enjoy the event.

Our next public events will be the Advanced Higher Days, sometime in 
December. We'll need some speakers to give talks to pupils & teachers 
and some demonstrators to help out in the teaching labs. If you'd be 
interested in participating then please let me know.
