Subject: [Vice-Deans] Pre-Commercialisation Masterclass: 29th January 2019

Dear All,

Strathclyde Entrepreneurial Network<https://www.strath.ac.uk/whystrathclyde/strathclydeentrepreneurialnetwork/> and the Organisational and Staff Development Unit<https://www.strath.ac.uk/hr/learninganddevelopment/> will be hosting a Pre-Commercialisation Masterclass<https://bookings.strath.ac.uk/Home/Course/4007> for early-career researchers and academic staff on 29th January 2019.

This practical, one-day session will have a specific focus on intellectual property, routes to commercialisation and business modelling, with participants gaining the skills needed to identify commercial opportunities even at an early-stage of research. Delivered by P2T Consulting<https://www.p2t.co.uk/>, this masterclass is designed to prepare participants for programmes such as the Innovation to Commercialisation of University Research (ICURe) programme, Scottish Enterprise High Growth Start-up Programme and the University's stage-gated process for supporting commercialisation.

I would encourage you to identify colleagues who may benefit from this event and encourage them to register for the following:
