We have opened a fresh call for Events 
<https://www.supa.ac.uk/opportunities/funding/events> funding and 
Distinguished Visitor 
<https://www.supa.ac.uk/Graduate_School/Distinguished_Visitors.htm> 
funding. The deadline for these calls is 5pm, 18 February.

Please consider applying, whether it’s for an event already being 
planned, or an event you’d like to do in the future. SUPA has funded or 
part-funded many events (up to £2,000), including the Cormack Astronomy 
Meeting, the Young Theorists Forum, the TMCS 6 conference, and the Young 
Atom Opticians conference, which came to Scotland in 2018.

Distinguished Visitors (funded up to £3,000) in the past have included:

  * Dr Rosaly Lopes, from NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory
  * Dr Aimo Winkelmann, from Bruker Nano GmbH
  * Prof Kris Heyde, from Ghent University
