Subject: Visit by External Examiners - Wednesday 13th March 2019


Dear All,

 The external examiners for your degree courses will visit the University on the 13th March. They are not coming to examine you, but they would like to have an informal meeting with as many of the graduating L4 and L5 students as possible.  We extend the invitation to non-graduating L4 students (i.e. MPhys) who also may wish to attend.

 The purpose of the meeting is to allow you an opportunity to discuss your experiences of your degree courses with the externals. This opportunity for you to meet the externals is an aspect of the IoP accreditation of your degree. We very much encourage as many of you as possible to try to meet the externals

 To facilitate this the department arranges for you to have an informal lunch (on the department!) with the examiners. This year this will take place between 12:50 and 14:30 in room JA7.32 of the John Anderson Building

In order that we can estimate catering requirements, please let Audrey McKinnon (audrey.mckinnon at strath.ac.uk<mailto:audrey.mckinnon at strath.ac.uk>) know if you will attend, ideally by Friday the 8th March (i.e. this Friday).
