Dear all,
The 2019/20 STFC Ernest Rutherford Fellowship scheme is running again this year, and the Department can put forward one candidate. The following link has all the background and application information: https://stfc.ukri.org/funding/fellowships/ernest-rutherford-fellowship/<https://nemo.strath.ac.uk/owa/redir.aspx?C=5uv3S1yQTyy42koWFMvYmvEFmbdIK3T_XROaupPrtRFVnG6wRwXXCA..&URL=https%3a%2f%2fstfc.ukri.org%2ffunding%2ffellowships%2fernest-rutherford-fellowship%2f>.
If you are interested in applying for one of these very prestigious fellowships, or know somebody who is, please let me know as soon as possible and certainly no later than 31st July. By that date we request that interested candidates send me a CV and a one page outline of their research plan. If we receive more than one expression of interest (complete with CV and research outline) then we will operate a selection process based on the submitted documentation. We aim to complete this process by mid-August to give successful candidates sufficient time to prepare and submit a full application to STFC by the deadline on 19th September.
Thanks and regards,
Gail
