Dear all,

There is an open call for Royal Society University Research Fellowship applications, with a deadline of Tuesday 3rd September. More information on the scheme is available at https://royalsociety.org/grants-schemes-awards/grants/university-research/.

There is no institutional quota and therefore no Faculty or University-level competition, but we are keen to ensure we are supporting high quality applications from the Department. To support candidates, if you are interested in applying for this schemed please either contact myself or Paul McKenna in the first instance (if you have not already done so), and submit a draft copy of your application to me (g.mcconnell at strath.ac.uk<mailto:g.mcconnell at strath.ac.uk>) by 5pm on 11th August. We will review the drafts and give feedback to candidates asap after this date.

Thanks and regards,

Gail
