[Academic] Reminder - Training by Disability Services - 6th September

To staff teaching modules in 19/20:

Many thanks to those who have responded to the meeting invitation for the training session run by Disability Services on formatting of documents for MyPlace.

This is to help you to ensure that course materials uploaded to MyPlace are compatible with the Read & Write Gold (RWGOLD) software used by students with dyslexia and reading difficulties.

We would like each module leader (or a member of their module team) to attend so that we can ensure that everyone is up to date on how this software works with various types of file.  It will include a discussion on making formulae and diagrams accessible, and different types of pdf.
Please pass this invitation on to any post-docs who teach and who would benefit from this session.

We have arranged the training for Friday 6th September at 2:30pm, in JA3.14, and it will hopefully take no longer than an hour.

If you have not yet responded, please let me know if you are able to attend.
