Dear All,

The University has received a Freedom of Information request asking if 
“trigger warnings – warnings about potentially offensive or upsetting 
content - are issued to students for any course within the university 
and if so please provide full details of the course, and the content and 
rationale of the trigger warning”.  An example would be a verbal warning 
given at the beginning of a lecture where sensitive images are shown 
(e.g. relating to a medical procedure).

If you have issued warnings about potentially offensive or upsetting 
content, please reply to this email by Monday 9th September with the 
requested details. Thanks
