On behalf of the Dean of Science
Dear All,
I would like to give an overview of the REF progress at a Science Faculty meeting on Friday 1st November from 11am-12noon to which all academic and research staff are invited, venue to be confirmed. Prof Stephen McArthur and Clair Carroll from the REF Team will also be present.
I’d like to stress the importance of our REF preparations. It is essential that Unit of Assessment Coordinators and Heads of Department come along to this meeting and I particularly encourage group leaders and senior academic staff to attend also.
There have been important additional developments for our REF preparations and I’d like staff to be made aware of what support exists and will be made available over the coming months.
Best regards,
Iain.
