SOFT Innovation Prize for Fusion Launched
27 NOVEMBER 2019 - CALL RESEARCHER
The European Commission have launched the Symposium On Fusion Technology (SOFT) Innovation Prize, which will reward outstanding researchers, or industries trying to find new solutions to the huge challenges of fusion.
Applicants to the prize may submit any new physics or technology innovation linked to future research that has potential for further exploitation. Entries will be assessed on:
· originality and replicability;
· technical excellence;
· economic impact, exploitation and plans for future development.
1st prize is €50,000, 2nd prize is €25,000 and 3rd prize is €12,500. The deadline is 5 March 2020.”
