[Academic] Maintaining good coomunications with our PGR students

Dear All,

 From a very recent survey of PGR students across the University, it 
appears that some students have had little or no contact with their 
supervisors since the lockdown began. There is no suggestion that this 
includes students in our Department, but all HoDs have been asked to 
remind supervisors of the need to maintain good direct 
supervisor/student communications and general interactions, e.g. via 
weekly teleconference or videoconference meetings. Some of our PGR 
students, particularly our international students, may be feeling very 
isolated at the moment. Regular communications will help. Thanks.
