[Academic] self-funded PGR students and voluntary suspension due to Covid-19

Dear all,

The faculty have advised that self-funded PGR students who *are not 
receiving a stipend* can request voluntary suspension backdated to the 
beginning of the lockdown in March. This will mean that they are not 
charged fees for this period. Students receiving stipends are not 
advised to request VS as their stipend payments would also be stopped.

If this applies to any of your students please ask them to request VS 
using the form at

In cases where a Tier 4 visa is involved the situation may be more 
complicated - please seek advice via Melanie.
