Dear All,
Please find attache the resit timetable giving details of numbers etc. I also attach the version for students. Below is an email that will be sent out shortly to students and also put onto MyPlace
Regards,
Brian.
============================================================
The resits period is Wednesday 29/07/2020 to Tuesday 11/08/2020 (inclusive). The resits will be in the form of alternative assessments, similar to those at the end of last Semester.
* All resit assessments will be on a Pass/Fail basis.
* All students in year 1 and 2 will do an online assessment via MyPlace within a 24 hr period starting from 11am. This should take between 1-2 hours to complete giving plenty of time within the 24 hr window.
* In years 3 - 5 where there are 3 or less students resitting, and if they all agree, they can choose to take an oral assessment via Zoom, otherwise it will be online via MyPlace, as for years 1 & 2. Oral assessments will have a maximum duration of 30 minutes to be arranged at a mutually convenient time within the assessment period, and will be moderated by two Academic staff.
* 4th year students taking the assessment as a first attempt may choose to sit the exam in the next Academic Year, from which a mark would be obtained in the normal way - a Pass/Fail assessment cannot contribute a mark. This would allow the mark to contribute to their final award.
Further details will be supplied by each module lecturer.
