Please find below, a reminder of the KE seminar on Intellectual Property and Commercialisation on Thursday 8 October 2020. Please register by 5pm on Wednesday 7 October to attend.

An Introduction to Intellectual Property and Commercialisation at Strathclyde - Adam Majumdar, IP & Commercialisation Manager, Innovation and Industry Engagement Directorate

This will be an interactive session, providing an introduction to IP and Commercialisation. The session will be delivered by Adam Majumdar, the IP & Commercialisation Manager with responsibility for Physics. Adam will discuss the most important IP rights with a focus on patents before talking about the 'Stage Gated Process' used by Strathclyde to create spin-out companies and commercial licenses.  The talk will be followed by a question and answer session.

The event will be held on Zoom, on 8 October 2020, 11 am - 11:45 am. All academic staff, researchers, and PhD students are most welcome to attend.
