> The health, safety and wellbeing of our students and staff is our 
> priority and it’s important that we do all we can to help restrict the 
> spread of Covid-19. We are doing this with our teaching by adapting 
> the way we normally deliver our courses. As you know, lectures are 
> provided online and these are supplemented by tutorials. In line with 
> the Strathclyde Student Pledge, tutorials have taken place online 
> during the first 3 weeks of the semester, with the expectation that we 
> would transition to blended learning with face-to-face teaching in 
> small group tutorials, subject to the evolving Government guidance.

> Yesterday, in response to the more stringent restrictions imposed by 
> the Scottish Government in the Central Belt from 9 - 25 October, the 
> University’s Executive Team adjusted its plans for the transition to 
> blended learning, by rephasing the commencement of the transition 
> phase for two weeks.

> The new arrangements mean that there will be *no face-to-face teaching 
> for the next two weeks* (weeks 4 and 5 of the semester 1 teaching
