Invitation to Strathclyde Doctoral School Roadshow - find out more about SDS and how it can be of help to Supervisors and Doctoral Candidates - Wednesday, 24 February 2-3pm (via Zoom)

Professor Eleanor Shaw, Associate Principal and Director of Strathclyde Doctoral School (SDS) invites you to come along to this session find out more about SDS. During this informative session, Eleanor and co-directors Professor Yvonne Perrie and Dr Steph Colvan will:

  * Outline what SDS is; its mission and Vision for 2025 including ways in which SDS can add to activities focused on PGRs at Departmental and Faculty levels.
  * Provide an update on the activities of SDS particularly since Covid-19 and related restrictions have impacted on the university sector.
  * Share detail and an update on the 'Enhancing the Strathclyde PhD Experience Project' that is underway and let colleagues know how they can get involved, contribute and help shape the project.
Following a 20 minute presentation, the team will be on hand to answer any questions.
We intend to make this an interactive and friendly session and suggest that given the breadth and depth of SDS activities that this session will be valuable to all supervisors and colleagues responsible within Faculties for managing and supporting PGR communities. Please register for the workshop here<https://bookings.strath.ac.uk/Home/Course/5651>.
We very much hope you can attend this event and we look forward to seeing you there.
Many thanks
