[Academic] Semester 2 Formal Assessment guidance and deadlines

Dear All,

Please see attached the guidance notes for the Semester 2 Formal 
Assessments (exams) issued to students and the exam timetable. Also 
attached is further staff guidance. If you are setting exams, please 
read and familiarise yourself with these.

We are now in the run-up to getting all of the forthcoming exams 
submitted, checked and running on Myplace. To enable this some deadlines 
must be met.

1) Please ensure you have the exam set up on Myplace in the quiz format: 
*Deadline Friday, 26 March.*

2) The exam checker should then check for correct formatting of the 
Myplace questions (variables in italics etc) and ensure the equation 
sheets, physical constants and other relevant instructions are 
available: *Deadline Thursday, 1 April.*

3) The exam checker should then check that the Myplace questions 
function correctly and give correct answers: *Deadline Thursday, 1 April.*

To help record progress there is an online spreadsheet for the exam 
setters and checkers to complete:

Please can the exam setter put their initials in Column F when they are 
ready for the exam to be checked - please also arrange an exam checker. 
Can the exam checker then initial Columns G and H when they are happy 
that the exam is in the correct format and the questions function correctly.
