[Academic] 1st year PhD Postgraduate conference - guidance

Guidance notes are attached for students presenting talks at the 1st 
year PhD PG conference, which will take place via Zoom on Wed 18th 
August at 10.00 and will consist of two parallel sessions. A conference 
schedule will be provided soon.

Each presenter will be allocated 15 mins - 12 mins for a talk 
(pre-recorded - see notes for guidance on preparation) + 3 minutes for 
questions.

Talks, abstracts etc. will be submitted via the Physics PhD students 
MyPlace page (link in notes).

Please submit your title, abstract etc. and talk as instructed by 
*Monday 16th August*.

If you have any questions/problems, please let me know.

Instructions/guidance for presenters at the 2nd year poster session will 
follow soon.
